Creating Thriving Relationships
Has another “friend” let you down?
Maybe they’ve been with you since grade school, but, for some unknown reason, they keep betraying your confidence. You’re as loyal as it gets, but enough is enough.
Choosing not to engage with this person anymore feels uncomfortable yet healthy. Nevertheless, there’s still a sense of loss.
You question yourself a lot about this.
Am I a bad person?
Will others not like me for this?
Have I taken responsibility for my part?
Are you and your partner like two ships passing in the night?
Maybe you spend a lot of time together, but is it QUALITY time?
Each morning, you dive into your computers, and every night, you sit down to eat in front of the TV. Then, you watch a movie until bedtime.
Communication is down, sex is down, and laughing together doesn’t happen as much anymore.
Are you “over it” with certain friends and family?
They constantly test your limits with their stupid questions.
They invite you over for dinner only to start challenging your parenting style… right in front of your kids! Or they question your choice of partner… with your partner sitting right there!
They accuse you of being selfish and unruly as you try to break free and start a healthy life.
But you fear that leaving will hurt them. And some of them are old…
So, you can’t help but feel like staying in dysfunction is the kind thing to do.
Maybe you feel a disconnect within yourself, too?
You have to consider this because you are your most important relationship.
How we relate to ourselves strongly affects how we relate to others. The more you question your worth, the more you either idolize others or devalue their worth.
It’s hard to be vulnerable with others if you don’t like yourself very much. You probably wonder if showing who you really are will make others dislike or abandon you.
I can help you connect with others and yourself.
Relationships are a beautiful buffer to stress in life, but if you’re struggling with maintaining healthy relationships, you might be experiencing more stress than you should.
I’ll teach you the art of building trust and intimacy with others by deepening your relationship with yourself, asserting boundaries, and learning how to have courageous conversations.
In our coaching sessions, I’ll help you identify what you want. You might feel uncomfortable because you don’t even know, but I have the right questions to draw out what’s tucked behind your defenses you’ve built up to protect yourself from the disappointment of not getting what you want.
We’ll also comb through the obstacles you’re experiencing. I use a narrative method, meaning we look at the stories you’ve developed for yourself that may not be helping you, and I give you the tools to rewrite your stories to ones that help you thrive.
You’ll feel more confident in your ability to have your needs met in your relationships with others, and you’ll feel more empowered to know how to meet your own needs too.
You’ll walk away empowered – ready to make decisions that align with your best life!
Feel more confident in your abilities to navigate all your relationships.
Learn how to apply new tools and insights to your life so you can experience immense relief and new joys that you never thought possible.
